I build whole products by hand, end to end, and write about it here.

I am a Sydney, Australia based full-stack engineer. For twenty years I have shipped software across health, finance, legal, education, and cyber, usually as the person who takes a thing from an empty repo to something real people use. I co-founded and led the engineering for a pharmacy delivery platform, Chemist2U, and I have built and run my own products since, including the nutrition platform NutriM8.
What I like is the whole stack, not a slice of it. A typical project for me runs from the Parse and Mongo backend, through the Angular or native mobile front end, down to the Dockerfile and the DNS, and lately into the layer below all of that: a fleet of small agent tools and a set of on-device AI models that run on a laptop instead of someone else's server. I tend to build the boring infrastructure under the product myself, because that is where the leverage is.
This site is the give-back half of what I do. It is where I publish the code, the tools, and the thinking that might be useful to another developer: essays from production, copy-paste snippets, things you can install, and live demos of systems I actually run. I do not keep a skills list here on purpose. If you want to know what I can do, the work on this site is the answer.
My one rule for everything here: built by hand, not generated. I use AI heavily as a tool, with guardrails, but the judgement and the architecture are mine.
